John Dilworth
FREDI, Rodolfo Born 1861 Todi, died 1950 Rome Italy. Son and pupil of Count Fabio Fredi, above. Moved to Rome to study at the Conservatoire 1889. Business established at 24 Via Vicenza. Teacher of Bellarosa. Credited with 450 violins, 70 violas, and 50 cellos; also double basses and viols. Stradivari-derived models. Golden-yellow varnish. Awarded medals in Turin 1911 and Rome 1917.
