Maker Overview
Life
He is known for finely made violins, often based on classical Italian models, including Guarneri-inspired designs. A documented example from 1928 bears his original label and internal brand stamp and is described as having a red-brown oil varnish. Lang also trained other Nuremberg makers, including Georg Strohmer.
