Maker Overview

Life

Primavera studied at the Cremona International School of Violin Making under Pietro Sgarabotto and Gio Batta Morassi, graduating in 1975, and worked with Capellini before establishing his own Cremona workshop in 1977. Instruments labelled “Primavera–Capellini” were made by Primavera and overseen by Capellini, generally following classical Cremonese models, particularly Stradivari and Montagnana.
