Maker Overview
Life
The eldest son of Paolo Vettori and grandson of Dario Vettori, he joined his father’s workshop at eighteen and later enrolled with the Associazione Liutaria Italiana Professionisti in 2001. He has also worked in violin-making workshops in the United States. His violins, violas and cellos draw on classical Italian models, using moulds and patterns from the family workshop, including those connected with the Carlo Bisiach tradition.
