KLEIN, Aloys Worked circa. 1884-1900 Rouen France. Founder of A. Klein et Cie in 1884, making good quality instruments on a commercial basis; workshop managed by Antoine Brubach. Appointed to the Academy des Beaux Arts 1887. Prolific output. Good construction and materials with bright red and yellow varnishes. Branded: ‘A. Klein & Cie, Rouen’. Printed label: A.
