MONTEVECCHI, Luigi Born 1868, died 1957 Cesena Italy. Trained as a cabinet-maker at the Bologna Academy of Fine Arts. Developed a personal model derived from Cremonese forms. Fine accurate workmanship, and notable varnish of his own manufacture. Highly regarded maker and restorer of the 20th century Emilia Romagna school.
