PELLACANI, Giuseppe Born 1900 Medolla, Modena Italy. Violinist and pupil in lutherie of N. Bianchi in Nice and E. Arassi in Milan from 1940. Guarneri model with thick clear shaded varnish; golden-yellow to red-brown. Completed 137 violins, 26 violas, and 72 cellos. Medals awarded in Ascoli Piceno 1959 and Cremona 1967.
