BLANCHI, Alberto Born 1871, died 1941 Nice France. Son and pupil of Augustin Blanchi, below. Gold medals at Milan 1906, and London 1908. 500 violins, 60 cellos, double basses, guitars, and mandolins. Personal models, showing a very high degree of craftsmanship and finish. Good golden-orange varnish.
