PROKOP, Franz Dominik Born 1803, died 1862 Hlinsko Czech Republic. Son and pupil of Anton Prokop, above. Worked in Vienna and Budapest before returning to Hlinsko. Fine workmanship. Instruments frequently inlaid and decorated. Awarded gold medal in London. Also made plucked instruments, also often highly decorated.
