AREY, Isaiah H. Born 1826 Wellfleet, Massachusetts, died 1870 Boscawen, New Hampshire USA. Neat work on classical models. Ideas about violin making were developed through his own study and experimentation, and thus most of his patterns were of his own design. 86 violins and 37 guitars, from old woods salvaged from demolished buildings.
