BIANCHI, Pasquale Born 1912, Waterbury, Connecticut USA. Self-taught maker active from 1950, established in Schenectady, New York. Assisted by grandson Christopher (Born 1957) from 1978. Classical and personal models. Various varnishes. Made around 250 instruments, but a good number of these were regarded by the maker as unsuccessful experiments and discarded.
