Eliot Brunton

BRUNTON, Eliot Born 1949, died 1994 UK. Trained at the Newark School of Violin Making. Employed by Hills as a restorer until the closure of the business 1992. Subsequently worked alone in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire before his sad early death two years later. His own instruments are rare and follow classical models with well-coloured spirit varnish.
