BRUYAS, Maurice Born 1907 St-Chaumont, Loire France. Violinist and member of the Radio and Opera orchestras at Algiers. Pupil of his uncle, an amateur maker. After years spent travelling, established at St. Etienne 1946 where he was appointed luthier to the Conservatoire. Obtained diploma at 1949 competition in the Hague.
