CABASSE, Prosper (I) Worked circa. 1782-1810 Mirecourt & Paris France. Some narrow high-arched examples, but other flatter more classical models. Only average quality workmanship, with a rather trade-like quality. Light brown-orange varnish. Triangular brand: ‘Cabasse à Paris’ Imitation work with similar brand appears as late as 1864.
