John Dilworth
COUSINEAU, Georges Worked circa. 1735-1770 Paris France. Shared the workshop of J. Ouvrard c.1735. Apprenticed to F. Lejeune c.1748. Subsequently established at rue Bourg de Brie. Master of the Corporation of Makers of Musical Instruments in Paris 1769. Appointed luthier to the queen (Marie Antoinette). Primarily a harp-maker, but listed all kinds of stringed instruments, viols, violins, and cellos on his labels and trade cards. [Milliot]
