Peter Davidson

He was born at Speyside, and he lives now at Londsville, White County, Georgia, U.S.A. He was only an amateur maker, but made very fair instruments. He published "The Violin : Its Construction Theoretically and Practically Treated," a very interesting but wholly unreliable work. Davidson was an excise officer, and a bookworm.
