Continued at the shop until 1943 working for Hel’s widow. Subsequently established his own business in Lille. Awarded gold medal for craftsmanship by a French jury. Cremonese models, limited in number due to his work as a restorer and repairer. Signed internally on back and front. Branded: ‘M.Demey à Lille’.
