DORELLI, Giovanni Worked circa. 1782 Brescia Italy. Very late work of old Brescian school, recalling Gasparo da Salò and the very coarsest examples of Pasta. High crude arch, soundholes very open, centre bouts virtually square. Decent scroll with a slight flute to the pegbox sides. Fine very Brescian-looking brown varnish with crackled texture. One instrument known, manuscript label: A di Trio (?) maggiore 1782 / giovanni dorelli fece
