EBERLE, Eugen (I) Born 1885, d. after 1947 Rotterdam Netherlands. Son of Oscar Eberle, professor of the cello at Rotterdam Conservatoire. Apprenticed to C. F. Tomasowski. Worked for Karel Van der Meer in Amsterdam and Otto Möckel in Berlin before opening his own shop in Rotterdam 1904. Gold medals at Rotterdam and Milan Exhibitions. Golden yellow varnish.
