John Dilworth
FERRONI, Fernandino Born 1868, died 1949 Florence Italy. Pupil of De Zorzi. Influential maker of the Florentine school in 20th century. Established in the Borgo San Frediano. Personal model and copies of individual master instruments, often based on the Stradivari instruments in the Cherubini Collection in Florence. Some 110 violins, 12 violas, and six cellos credited to him. Exhibited in Cremona 1937. Also gained awards in Rome 1924. P. Ferroni / Firenze. 1926
