John Dilworth
GAILLARD-LAJOUE, Jules Worked circa. 1855 Mirecourt France. Younger brother of Charles Gaillard, above. Silver medal at 1855 Paris Exhibition. Good work. Guarneri models with lightly shaded varnish. Also produced some extraordinary ‘double violins’ and Chanot-style guitar shaped instruments. Branded internally: ‘L. Gaillard’
