GAVALDA, Georges Born 1899 Montpellier, Worked from 1939 Villefranche France. Studied violin at Montpellier Conservatoire. Taught by Huetter and subsequently established in Villefranche. Classical models, well-finished. Good materials with shaded varnish of good texture.
