GLAESEL, Moritz Born 1838, died 1917 Markneukirchen Germany. Traded as ‘Glaesel-Wiener’ at 110 Gartenstrasse. Eccentric instruments with undulating plates advertised as ‘Kymato-Geigen’. Made guitars, violins, cellos, and double basses. Medals at several Exhibitions 1873-1905. The firm M. Glaesel-Wiener was continued by successors in the family, making conventional commercial instruments.
