GOZZO, Michael Born 1892 Bagni Canicattini Italy, d. c.1968 Glendale, California USA. Pupil of his grandfather, of the same name. Emigrated to the USA. Associated with George Lindsey in Los Angeles from 1926. Established in Hartford, Connecticut 1930, and finally moved to Glendale 1942. Stradivari, Guarneri, and personal models; over 100 made. Red-brown varnish. [Wenberg]
