John Dilworth

GUERRA, Evasio Emiliano Born 1875, died 1956 Turin Italy. Initially self-taught, benefitting from the assistance of C. Oddone, R. Marengo and Fagnola, for whom he later supplied work. Worked briefly in England and France before establishing himself in Turin. Stradivari, Guadagnini, and personal models; close copies of Guadagnini and Rocca. Fine workmanship with good oil varnish similar to that of Oddone. Also made bows, and worked as a restorer. Evasio Emiliano Guerra / fece in Torino anno 1921
