HELLMAN, Jacob Born 1721 Mellby, Skane, died 1785 Ängelholm Sweden. Apprenticed to Hand Georg Mothe in Ängelholm from 1740. Subsequently became his son-in-law. Established independently 1751 and took as an apprentice Carl Johan Broberg, but seems to have closed his shop in 1767 and moved to the country on account of lack of business.
