John Dilworth
HERBRIG, Charles Edward Born circa. 1884 Montgomery, died 1959 St Paul, Minnesota USA. Violin and bow maker. Active in Montgomery from 1908. Established in St. Paul 1922-1958. 1721 Stradivari and Guarneri violins as model; also personal models. Fine craftsmanship. Early work with pale yellow varnish; deeper colours incorporated later.
