John Dilworth

HILL, Joseph (II) Born 1745, Worked London UK, died 1793 Eldest son and successor of Joseph Hill (I), above. Took over the Haymarket shop 1780, but it was destroyed by fire 1789. As a consequence he worked for John Betts c.1790-1791, before managing to establish a new business at Lock’s Fields, Newington. His work is comparatively rare.
