HOPF, David (I) Worked circa. 1790-1820 Klingenthal Germany. Typical Hopf style but with medium height of arch and shallow edge flute. Mediocre work and materials and dull red-brown varnish. Small violas with golden-brown varnish. Branded on back: ‘David Hopf’ David / Hopf Dafid : Hobf
