Biographies
John Dilworth
KOCHENDÖRFER, Friedrich Born 1873, died 1923 Stuttgart Germany. Son and pupil of A. F. Kochendörfer, above. Apprenticed to Schunemann. Worked in various German cities from 1888 before resuming at the Stuttgart shop 1895. Appointed as a teacher at the Mittenwald Violin Making School in 1903, became Director, and retired in 1922. The shop in Karlstrasse, E. R. & E. Kochendörfer, maintained by various members of the family. [Vannes]
