William J. Kugler

KUGLER, William J. Born 1899 Roberts County, South Dakota USA. Pupil of Charles Herbrig. Established independently in Minneapolis 1938. After military service 1943-1945 founded the Kugler Music Co. Retired 1961. A collector, he opened a museum in St Paul stocked with over 1,400 instruments. His own work consists of no more than two violins, but several copies of historical stringed instruments.
