Studied violin making in Chicago. Worked briefly in San Antonio, Texas and established in Madison, Wisconsin from c.1959. Retired to Lexington 1970 but continued making. Over 200 instruments including cellos and basses, some possibly imported from Germany and finished in the workshop. — John Dilworth
