Biographies
John Dilworth
LASSI, Enzo Born 1907, died 1965 Faenza Italy. Son and pupil of Francesco Lassi, below. Also studied briefly with Gaetano Pollastri. Stradivari- and Guarneri-derived models with dark orange-red varnish. Some violins made from wood salvaged from the war-time bombing of the Masini theatre in Faenza.
