LIDHOLM, Eric Johan Born 1871 Angermanland Sweden, died 1942 St Louis, Missouri USA. Pupil of E. A. Thompson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Worked for Frederick Buckley in St Louis, Missouri. Established in St Louis 1914, moved briefly to Minneapolis in 1923, but finally returned to St Louis. Personal model influenced by Buckley. Completed at least 24 violins with orange-brown varnish.
