MAIN, Louis L. Born 1909 Byron, Oklahoma, Worked 1936-1963 Lynwood & Long Beach, California USA. Pupil of Marcel Aerts from 1931. Established independently in Lynwood, California 1936. Moved to Long Beach 1958. From 1935-1963 was associated with Erich Lachmann. Succeeded by his son Louis (II). Various classical models and many different varnishes, often shaded.
