Ein Schüler von Findlay und wie sein Meister ursprünglich Weber. Später
wurde er Gärtner in Logie (Forfarshire). Er hat nach einem Guarneri-Modell
etwa ein halbes Hundert Violinen gemacht. Die Arbeit ist jedoch unbeholfen
und unfein.
