John Dilworth

MAUCOTEL, Ernest Born 1867 Mirecourt France. Apprenticed to Paul Bailly. Worked for his uncle E. A. Salzard in Moscow from 1885. Returned to Paris and formed a partnership with H. C. Silvestre 1900. Later associated with the connoisseur Paul Deschamp. Initially at Faubourg Poissonnière, then at 27 rue de Rome. Fine copies of Cremonese and Venetian models.
