MEYER, Reinhardt Born 1863 Germany, Worked circa. 1918-1926 Worcester, Massachusetts USA. Began violin making 1888. Established in Worcester, Massachusetts as violinist and maker 1918-1926. Took over the business of Samuel Parsons. About 300 violins modelled on the 1714 Stradivari ‘Dolphin’ violin, and occasionally on Guarneri patterns. Wurlitzer varnish. Also a few violas recorded.
