MOENNIG, William Heinrich (I) Born 1883 Germany, Worked from 1904, died 1962 Philadelphia USA. Apprenticed to his uncle Adolf in Budapest, Hungary. Moved to the USA 1896 to study with his brother-in-law Julius Guetter in Philadelphia. Completed his first instrument 1904. Established independently at ‘Ye olde Fiddle Shop’ 1909.
