MOLIA, Angelo Worked circa. 1749-1764 Genoa Italy. Pupil of Calcanius. Good work, although often with a rather rustic finish, on small Stradivari-derived model. Golden-orange or slightly opaque red-brown varnish of thin consistency. Plain materials. Meanly proportioned scroll with small throat. Large soundholes with low notches.
