John Dilworth

NICOLA, Utili Born 1888, Worked from 1904 Castelbolognese, Ravenna Italy. Initially a maker of plucked instruments. Later developed an eccentric violin design with inverted corners. Awarded first prize at Turin 1928 for a quartet. Finely finished work with a flat arch. Very good oil varnish and excellent materials. 1922.
