NIELSEN, Niels Christian Born 1892 Skive Denmark, Worked from 1912 Omaha, Nebraska USA. Pupil of Anders Rasmussen in Aarhus 1906-1910. Worked briefly in Copenhagen and Germany before emigrating to the USA 1912, following Anders Rasmussen to Omaha. Established independently there 1918. Made some new instruments between 1916 and 1920, but subsequently worked purely as a repairer and restorer. Guarneri models with fine golden orange varnish. Excellent workmanship. N. C.
