PALSTERMAN, Jordaens Worked circa. 1648-1698 Brussels Belgium. Known only from Brussels archives: cited in a notary document of Gaspar Bourbon dated 1698 declaring Palsterman to be a violin maker. Active for 50 years at a house known as ‘de drij Hespen’ (The Three Hams) in Hoedmaecker Straat (rue des Chapeliers) in Brussels. Work presently unknown. [Vannes]
