John Dilworth

POLITI, Enrico Born 1885 Rome, died 1979 Turin Italy. Son, pupil, and assistant of Eugenio Politi, below. After the death of his father in 1909 worked with his brother Fernando before moving to Turin. Prolific maker. Personal model based on classical proportions with transparent orange-red varnish. Completed over 400 violins, 30 violas, and 40 cellos. Juror at several international meetings and competitions. Enrico Politi / fece / Roma – anno 1923
