Worked for Mougenot under the direction of J. Marchand. Established independently from 1908. Completed about 40 violins and cellos; Stradivari and Guarneri models. Fine golden-yellow and deep red oil varnish of his own formula. Instruments branded on lower rib. Bows branded: PONCIN Charles Poncin / Bruxelles 1900
