John Dilworth
PULPANECK, Fritz Born 1878 Königsberg Germany, Worked from 1911 Los Angeles, California USA. Trained in Berlin, active in Leipzig and Düsseldorf before emigrating to the USA 1904. Worked in New York before establishing himself in Los Angeles 1911. Fine copies of Stradivari and Guarneri. Oil and spirit varnishes in orange to deep red-brown, sometimes shaded.
