REBER (RAEBER, RÖBER), Pancratius (II) Worked circa. 1716-1740 Düsseldorf, Trier & Mainz Germany. Musician and violin maker, active in several cities. As far as labels and previous dictionaries can be interpreted, he was working either as a court musician of luthier in Düssledorf 1716, Trier 1722, possibly in Wroclaw (Poland) 1727, Mainz c.1733-1737, and possibly after that in Prague, returning to Mainz c.1763. Viols and Stainer model violins. Unremarkable work. Golden-yellow varnish.
