RICHARDS, Frederick George Born 1876 Eastbourne, d. after 1947 Torrington, Devon UK. Architectural wood carver and amateur violin maker active from 1935 in Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells, and Torrington. Completed 30 violins and 10 violas on Stradivari models. Also made bows.
