John Dilworth
ROSENFELD, Louis died 1940 Kansas City, Missouri USA. Born in Lithuania. Emigrated to the USA c.1870, living in Leavenworth, Kansas before moving to Kansas City 1886. Employed by Carl Hoffman Music Co., eventually becoming vice president and general manager. First violin dated 1890. Later established independently in Kansas City, assisted by Willy Hoffmann who eventually succeeded him. Stradivari- and Guarneri-derived models. Maker, repairer, collector, and dealer. Lo.
