Pupil of V. I. Ivanov and worked for Geisser in St. Petersburg. Established independently in Odessa from 1897; finally moved to Warsaw 1925. Awarded gold medal at Antwerp Exhibition 1894. Guarneri and personal models with low arch and very meagre yellow or orange varnish. — John Dilworth

Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Schüler von Woldemar Ivanoff in St. Petersburg, arbeitete von 1891—1897 als Gehilfe bei E. Geisser und machte sich 1897 in Odessa als Geigen- und Bogenmacher selbstständig. Er arbeitet nach Guarneri del Gesù und nach eigenen Modellen, verwendet einen goldrothen Lack und erhielt schon 1894 auf der Antwerpener Weltausstellung ein Ehrendiplom.
